Colors of the Amazon

Bogotá, Colombia • July 2019

Traveling to new places and sharing that experience with friends is without a doubt a great pleasure, as well as helping those that need it most. In Bogota we gifted the Mural “Colors of the Amazon” to a playground that went from bricks and cement walls to colorful and inspiring images, the smiles of every girl and boy were our best reward. Amazonian plants and animals now decorate Instituto Bogota Centro, an elementary school like the one we all once attended and with this intervention the HERR Foundation family keeps growing, gets stronger, wiser, more equipped with the skills and knowledge to take on such projects.

Meet the artists behind this project

Founder and executive director. While traveling throughout South America painting murals, Herr encountered many underprivileged educational environments which led him to create H.E.R.R. Foundation in 2017 and dedicate his travels, passion for art and helping others to focus on making a change.

Sebastián is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Ecuador and of Chilean descent. His contributions to HE.R.R. Foundation have been as a muralist and project coordinator.
